Hope For Marriages

On the Fence was written to inspire hope in difficult marriages. If you are on the fence about giving up on your marriage or hoping for a miracle then this was written with you in mind-NOTE, it is faith-based. If you do not believe in God, there is still hope and I can offer other tools to repair brokenness. If you are in a harmful marriage, there are ways to safely separate.

As early as the first month after the wedding, one or both individuals may regret or fear they married the "wrong" person. The challenges and pressures in today's society make it increasingly difficult to cultivate marriage for a lifetime. Therefore, if a couple does not intentionally cultivate unconditional love and lifetime commitment, the probability of divorce is very high.

On the Fence is uniquely focused on seeking faith-based and practical tools to overcome marital hopelessness. It is for the reader that has lost hope or never had hope in human intervention tools. I have discovered that hope usually needs to be renewed ("want-to") before a person is motivated to hear or apply marriage success tools ("how-to").

While informally counseling individuals "on the fence" about divorce, I discovered a lack of resources on this topic and a lack of knowledge about the power of God to transform a marriage.  Over the years, individuals have been surprised by the uncommon advice: ask God to restore your marriage, he can help. Similarly, I have met individuals who have divorced and retrospectively realize that their marriage could have been restored through the power of God.

Although I believe that God can revive any marriage, God's loving arms are open wide to help & comfort you regardless of whether you choose divorce or marriage.  God is for you no matter what and I am here to help you get to a better place regardless of the path you choose.
