The telehealth software we use is developed in a secure and compliant manner that meets administrative, technical, and physical control requirements defined by HIPAA. A secure & strong WiFi connection offers the best quality however using mobile data has also worked.
It’s very easy to use video calls. You can start an appointment directly from your web browser (no downloads required) on your computer or by downloading Telehealth by SimplePractice (for iOS or Android) in the app store on your mobile phone/tablet. You’ll receive an email/text reminder 10 minutes before the session start time, including a link to join the video call. Once you join the call, you’re all set.
We will be happy to walk you through the steps for video sessions if desired- simply call at least one day ahead.
